The brew water requirements of beer brewing.

Beer brewing water mainly refers to the mashing of water and grains washing water, but also including the filter beer, fermentation and other parts of the water, the former is the composition of beer, the latter is in direct contact with the beer, so brewing water on the quality of beer is important influences.

1.Brewing water should at least meet the following requirements:

(1)Should be colorless and transparent, no smell, smell;
(2)The carbonate content, that is, the carbonate(CO3-)the less the better;
(3)PH value should be 6.8-7.2, but PH in the 6.5-7.5 between the general can still be used;
(4) the content of several major ions;

①is not allowed to exist from toxic, such as arsenic, mercury, chromium, aluminum and cyanide, etc., or do not exceed the drinking water health standards are limited;
②nitrate, nitrite is best not to exceed 0.1mg/L;

(5)free ammonia, free chlorine content is also the lower the better, should not exceed 0.3mg/L;
(6)shall not contaminate the various bacteria, drinking water should meet the health standers
